AVPN is the official regulatory body and trademark holder for authentic Neapolitan pizza, based in Naples, Italy. Founded in 1984, it sets and enforces strict standards for ingredients, fermentation, technique, and oven requirements that define S.T.G.-certified Neapolitan pizza. Only pizzerias that meet AVPN standards can legally use the "Verace Pizza Napoletana" designation.
